New Ophthalmology Unit, Mountainhall Treatment Centre, Dumfries
Project comprised extensive multi trade refurbishment and reconfiguration of a former Intensive Therapy Unit to form a new fully equipped and serviced specialist Ophthalmology Unit.
The new unit incorporates consultation rooms, large reception and patient waiting area, staff offices, kitchen and toilet facilities.
Works included decorative and flooring upgrades to existing corridors.
All works were carried out within a live hospital setting and required detailed planning and execution to ensure minimal disruption to ongoing activities.
