New Service Reservoir, Black Esk, Kirkpatrick Fleming, Dumfries & Galloway

Project comprised civil engineering works to provide a new 2 million cubic litre capacity service reservoir, valve chamber and drainage and external works – access roads, crane pads, process pipework – in a remote rural location.

Main work elements include:

– Bulk earthworks and excavations – formation of site drainage, temporary access road, crane pads.
– Construction of reinforced concrete clear water tank structure and valve chamber structure.
– New site and process drainage including outfall headwall structures, chambers and manholes.
– Site landscaping and fencing.
