The project comprised the construction of a large new high quality and modern garden centre located on an 18 acre site the outskirts of Carlisle.
Principal work elements included foundations, construction of the steel framed building, mechanical and electrical works, complete fit-out, access roads and car parking, together with associated landscaping. We also created a pond area and incorporated a reinforced concrete basement.
The new centre incorporates extensive internal and external retail areas together with large restaurant and fully equipped kitchen areas and associated ancillary and office accommodation.
We were the Principal Contractor and successfully managed and delivered this complex project including the extensive Contractor Design elements and effective coordination and management of all sub-contractors.
