The project comprised the removal and disposal of a defective RAAC concrete roof over areas of an existing swimming pool. We constructed a new timber roof structure complete with insulated decking and a high-performance liquid-applied roofing system. Additional works included the isolation and reinstatement of M & E services, installation of new ceilings, LED lighting, and associated decoration.
Careful planning, robust segregation measures, and close liaison ensured the works were completed safely within a live school environment.
